Common ground series

Common ground series reflects on previous concepts that I hae explored on memory and collective consciousness. The work centres around parks and common ground areas in London; places used for lesiure and contemplation.

These areas were identified from new reports where muderes occured.

The ‘landscapes’ were mostly shot the areas at dusk or at night to aid to their uncanny, eerie feel. I also wanted the images to stand on there own as aestheitic images in their own right, yet they are loaded with a memory of a tradgic, horrific event.
