A small snippet of the people I photographed over two days at the IM academy event held at the excel centre in the docklands, London. My task was to shoot portraits of the ‘Chairman’ at the IM academy for the huge banner posters that they use at the events. The ‘Chairman’ are the top earners in this company, a company that teaches forex trading and sells software (as far as I could make out).
Now, Its not uncommon for me to hear people say (on a near daily basiis) , “oh, I hate having my photo taken, ”…Incredibly, these people where quite the opposite. If they were ice creams, they’d lick themselves.
Quite fun to take their portraits though. They were full of Characture and personality, creating engaging studio style portraits that said so much about how they wanted to be seen. Headshots in London with personality.
These studio style portraits were shot 3/4 length usig a top light and reflector on a white background.
It did make a change from shoot headshot portraits of businessmen in the city so I can’t complain.
