Portrait of an artist In his shed

Ewen Hyde a unique stroud artist

I really loved visiting Ewen in stroud last week to take some portraits and seeing his artist shed where he create his very unique sculpture work from found objects. Ewen traditionally worked as a machinist most of his career and decided to take a different path in life and enrolled to study a fine art degree.

Strewned around the shed and his greenhouse next door are steel bees, vultures and other insects and animals made from found Knives and spoons etc

It so impressive to see someone change the course of their life to do something that they’re passionate about. I believe if you do want you feel, what you love then good things will come.
